    About RampIt

Why choose a RampIt modular ramp?

RampIt USA has been building aluminum ramps in Coldwater, Michigan since 1992, and every ramp is cut, welded, and assembled in their ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. RampIt modular wheelchair ramps are a popular alternative to wood or concrete because they install quickly, need no permanent construction, and can be expanded, reconfigured, or moved if your needs change.

    No concrete, no digging

Individually adjustable legs with wide 8" composite footpads level the ramp on driveways, lawns, decks, and slopes.

    Built for daily safety

Continuous handrails on both sides, 2" wheel guards, and slip-resistant extruded aluminum tread that never peels or needs grip tape.

    Lifetime warranty

Rust-free, maintenance-free aluminum backed by a lifetime manufacturer's warranty, with a 1,000 lb rated load.

    Sizing

How to choose the right RampIt ramp length

    1. Measure your rise. Measure straight down from the top of the door threshold or top step to the ground where the ramp will end.
    2. Use 1 foot of ramp per inch of rise. That's the ADA-recommended 1:12 slope for independent wheelchair users. A 12" rise needs a 12' ramp. Caregiver-assisted users can sometimes use a shorter, steeper ramp.
    3. Add a landing at the door. Most homes need a 5' x 5' top landing so a wheelchair user can turn and open the door. It's available on our RampIt kits 7' and longer.
