Key Information Needed For Determining Your Modular Ramp Size

Available Distance

The available distance you have for the ramp is determined by measuring the distance between the top step (or high point) to how far you have for the ramp to run per the image above.  This is crucial to consider because you're going to need to factor this in when learning how long of a ramp you need for your requirement.  In the event that you don't have enough room, you'll need to add a platform midway through the ramp, so you can allow it to turn a different direction to continue the descent.

Rise

This is determined by measuring the distance between the top step, or high point, down to the ground.  When you have this measurement, you'll be able to determine how long your ramp needs to be based on your specific requirement.

Ramp Length

When you have measurements for the Rise, as well as the Available Distance you have for your ramp, you can determine the ramp length.  This will be measured in Feet and can be determined using the table below based on your specific requirement!

Width

Typical Modular Ramps will be manufactured with a 36" width.  This follows ADA Standards and will be the default width for our Modular Ramps.  If you require a different width for your modular ramp, they can ALWAYS be built to your specific requirement, so call us at 888-307-1839 to discuss the ramp you're looking for, and we'll be happy to help!

I need the least expensive possible 24’ wheelchair ramp (24" threshold height) with a 5’ by 5’ landing, which will be a straight run up the side of my Manufactured home. What is the best quote you can give me? Thanks!!! My phone is 702 927 2013.
